Besides being pretty (the shiny round structure always makes us feel so zen!), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) mushroom has long been revered in Eastern Cultures and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The mushroom grows on trees throughout forests in Asia, Europe, South America, and the United States, and can reach lengths of up to eight inches in diameter!

The so-called “Mushroom of Immortality” is one of the most celebrated mushrooms and can be found in many ancient formulas as well as modern supplements - it was even traditionally regarded as a symbol of success, well-being, divine power and longevity. As an adaptogen - a class of herbs and mushrooms that help your body to overcome and adapt to physical, chemical and biological stress factors - Reishi, which contains polyphenol antioxidants, polysaccharides, polypeptides, can help support the immune system, reduce stress and provide balance and support focus.
